Looking to get in the Christmas spirit? Never fear, we’ve got you covered - here’s the full list of Christmas carols events going on across the Gold Coast.

CHRISTMAS carols are set to fill the air across the Gold Coast from this weekend onwards as Mudgeeraba becomes one of the first suburbs to host their annual music event.

The Mudgeeraba Carols will be held in Firth Park tomorrow, with students from Mudgeeraba Special School returning as the opening act.

School chaplain and event organiser Adrian Young said he’s excited to be back for another year.

“I get to showcase the school, and the most exciting thing is bringing the community together for the carols again,” he said.

“This has been going the last 20 years and it’s a pretty cool situation.

“It’s part of the Mudgeeraba community, and because it’s been going so long no matter when it is people just can’t wait for it.”

Around 5000 people are expected to attend the carols, just one among dozens of events to be held around the city in the lead up to Christmas.
