More than 200 Gold Coast CEOs are taking to their sleeping bags tonight for a hard night braving the cold. See who among them has raised the most funds so far.

MORE than 100 CEOs are taking to their sleeping bags for the first time as this year’s Vinnies CEO Sleepout begins tonight.
Around 215 CEOs from top businesses around the Coast will be sleeping rough in CBus Super Stadium to raise funds to end homelessness, with 126 of them new participants.
Event ambassador and last year’s Gold Coast Citizen of the Year said while the experience wasn’t quite reality, it did provide some “perspective”.

“It is a good sampling of what it is like to not sleep well overnight,” she said.
“By about 2pm (the next day) an incredible thing occurs which is most of us become a bit dazed, restless and tired.
“When you multiply that out night upon night it gives you a realisation of what it’s really like.”

Gold Coast CEOs have currently raised upwards of $283,000.
This year’s funds will go towards affordable housing for women over 50 at risk of homelessness on the Coast.
