THERE’S only one week to go to get your tickets for the Future Gold Coast series dinner event, at Movie World on November 19.
The event will feature some of the city’s biggest leaders talking about their vision and how they will help lead the city and their sectors in its COVID-19 recovery.
The Star’s chairman John O’Neill AO will be keynote speaker while the panel will include Mayor Tom Tate, Village Roadshow CEO Clark Kirby, The Star Gold Coast COO Jessica Mellor, Destination Gold Coast chairman Paul Donovan, Ray White The Surfers Paradise Group CEO Andrew Bell and Southern Cross University chief marketing officer Dean Gould.
Gold Coast Bulletin editor Rachel Hancock said while COVID-19 had hit the Gold Coast incredibly hard, there were green shoots of opportunity that could also be capitalised upon.
She said the event was perfectly timed, just weeks after the state election.
“Now is the time to act, we need to grab hold of these opportunities and work together for the Gold Coast,” Ms Hancock said.
“John O’Neill and the panellists will no doubt share some thought-provoking insights and I am sure it will be an inspirational night of people coming together and putting the Gold Coast’s future front and centre.’’
The Gold Coast Bulletin on Monday will also begin its two-week editorial series examining the city across a range of sectors, from tourism and education, to health, manufacturing and arts and culture.
Tickets are $150 each or $500 for a table of four. To book visit goldcoastbulletin.com.au/tickets. Ticket sales close next Thursday, November 12.
