A Gold Coast teenager has been charged after he allegedly made an online list ranking female students, categorising them as “unrapeable” and “abduction material”.

The 17-year-old Coomera man has been charged with three counts of using a carriage service to menace, harass, or cause offence.

The charges come weeks after an Instagram account uncovered rankings of teenage girls from Foxwell State Secondary College in Coomera, putting them into categories such as “abduction material” and “one night stand” to “average” and “unrapeable”.

The Bulletin understands the 17-year-old is not a student at the school and no other persons were being investigated.

He will be dealt under the youth justice act

Senior Sergeant Greg Aubort from Gold Coast District Child Protection and Investigation Unit said this case highlights the serious consequences of using online platforms to intimidate or harass others and serves as a reminder of the importance of responsible digital and social media behaviour.

“Police urge the community to remain vigilant and report any instances of cyber-bullying or online harassment.

“Such behaviour not only affects the wellbeing of individuals but also carries significant legal ramifications,” Senior Sergeant Aubort said.

At the time of the incident, the Queensland Education Department labelled the posts as ‘vile’ and were involved in investigations with police.

“Like all Queensland state schools, Foxwell State Secondary College takes the issue of bullying very seriously and is committed to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of every

student,” a department spokesman said at the time.
