Police have arrested four teenagers in Surfers Paradise after an alleged joyride in a car stolen from the Bundaberg region hours earlier.

Police alleged the juveniles, aged between 13 and 17, were travelling in a stolen red Haval H2 which was seen driving dangerously on the M1 nearby early Sunday.

The car was tracked and found parked outside a hotel on Surfers Paradise Boulevard about 2.30am.

The teenagers – a 13-year-old girl, a 14-year-old girl, a 14-year-old boy and a 17-year-old boy – were arrested at the scene.

The car was allegedly stolen from a Narooma Dr, Branyan address about 8pm Saturday.

The investigation continues.
