The southern Gold Coast will be home to the city’s newest Asian-inspired restaurant featuring sushi, pork buns and beef dumplings.
Mermaid Beach’s Little Truffle owner and acclaimed chef Daniel Ridgeway announced he will be opening his newest restaurant called Madame V, in Palm Beach on October 17.
The Asian-inspired venue will feature an elegant dining room and a “chic” lounge bar.
“We have designed Madame V with dark plush curtains all around, just like Little Truffle (in Mermaid Beach),” he said.
Mr Ridgeway said he had been working on the Madame V concept for “well over a year”.
“Our goal is to create a vibrant space where people can enjoy exceptional Asian cuisine in a sophisticated yet relaxed setting,” he said.
“I have always had a love for Asian food and that was my inspiration behind coming up with the concept for Madame V.”
The menu will include “delectable” dishes such as a Tuna Tataki, Sushi rolls, Wagyu beef dumplings, BBQ pork buns and even Japanese cheesecake soft serve.
The signature cocktail menu will also include the ‘Peach Blossom’ with gin, peach liqueur, yuzu and grapefruit.
“We’ve carefully curated our menu to offer a unique blend of flavours and textures from across Asia that will appeal to both adventurous and traditional palates.”
Mr Ridgeway said he was most excited for their “Yum Cha Sundays”.
“Think DJs, yum cha and cocktails in a relaxed, yet refined atmosphere,” he said.
“Whether you’re here for a casual Yum Cha Sunday, special evening out, or just to unwind in our lounge bar, Madame V promises a memorable dining experience.
“We’re excited to welcome the Palm Beach community and beyond to share in this new culinary adventure.”
