Emergency services have rushed to a truck and motorcycle crash which is causing major delays on the M1.
Paramedics and Gold Coast police were called to the collision on the southbound Pacific Motorway on-ramp near Stayplton at around 7.20am on Wednesday.
An ambulance spokeswoman said three crews were called to the scene and assessed a man who had back pain.
He was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condiiton.
A Gold Coast police spokeswoman warned motorists of delays as peak-hour traffic was backed up to Shailer Park at around 8.20am.
