An elderly man is being treated for shock after ploughing his car into a shop front at Mermaid Waters.
Emergency services were called to Markeri Street just after 10pm after reports of the accident.
Paramedics are assessing the elderly man on scene.
It’s understood the shop was vacant at the time of the accident.
