Delay to reopening of F45 Helensvale gym

THE popular Gold Coast gym which abruptly closed almost two weeks ago is expected to reopen soon, but the franchise managers are yet to settle on a date.
Members of F45 Helensvale, located in Oxenford, were locked out on Saturday May 18 after landlord Bob Perrett placed a padlock on the gate.

A spokesman for the training centre franchise F45 invited the Bulletin to attend the opening of F45 Helensvale this Saturday.
However the opening has since been pushed back to a later unknown date.
The spokesman said: “(they are) still working out more details” and “it may not be this Saturday”.

Hundreds of people who are members of F45 Helensvale had their weekly payments of a minimum of $55 a week put on hold last Thursday.
The Bulletin has attempted F45 Helensvale’s owner Michael Hughes – whose gym business is formally named The FourFive – multiple times over the past week and a half by phone and email and he has not responded.
It remains unclear why the gym abruptly closed.
