A GOLD Coast family has been left without a home after fire ripped through their property this morning.
Emergency crews were called to the Coomera property around 11.15am this morning after reports of a garage fire.
The fire was under control less than an hour later but the damage had already been done, with video showing heavy smoke and fire damage throughout the home.
Owner and single mother Stacey Gardner said she heard “three explosions” before the flames appeared.
“The whole house is structurally unsafe … it’s just crippled us, I’ve lost everything,” she told 9 News.
It’s not known what sparked the blaze but Ms Gardner reported seeing an orange glow under her car.
No one was injured in the fire and firefighters are now investigating.
