A WELL-KNOWN Gold Coast couple who have amassed hundreds of thousands of followers on social media have announced their separation after nine years together.

Tahlia Skaines and Mitch Third confirmed the split on Instagram, saying they were both grateful for their time together but needed to start new chapters in their lives.

Third took to Instagram on Sunday night to address the break-up for the first time.

“Excited for this new chapter in my life,” he said.

“So grateful and thankful for the past nine years and everything we have experienced and achieved.

“I’ve definitely found my why, my purpose and I’m extremely dialled in.

“I feel blessed that I get to wake up every day loving what I do.”

Mitch Third said he was grateful for his relationship with Tahlia Skaines but was excited for his next chapter

Skaines’ 615k followers and Mitch’s 31k followers on Instagram reacted with sadness to the news.

“Good luck,” wrote one. “But sad too. I loved watching you both on YouTube together.”

A few days earlier Skaines had addressed her Instagram followers, saying she had received many messages asking about the status of their relationship.

“Hello my loves. This is not a story I ever wanted to post but I feel I need to now let you all know I’ve been getting so many messages the past couple of weeks and months,” she said.

“It is with a heavy heart that I tell you that Mitch and I broke up a few weeks ago, and for now I’ll just be saying that.”

SOCIAL media star and sister of Coast mogul Tammy Hembrow, Emilee Hembrow has welcomed her rainbow baby earth side and said the family could not be happier after her traumatic pregnancy the year before.

After a heartbreaking stillbirth of her son Jamal at 30 weeks in June 2020, Hembrow, 29 said the family were blessed to welcome a fifth member to their family on September 11.

“Thank God, our rainbow baby has arrived safe and healthy,” Hembrow said.

“We are over joyed with emotions and feelings.

“Enjoying every precious moment with our new addition to the family,” she said.

Prior to the induced birth she shared a photo of her two children Aaliyah, five and Gabriel, three and their excitement for the baby.

“They are both excited for another addition to the fam, nothing like the bond of siblings,” Hembrow said.

Social media followers came in masses to congratulate Hembrow and said “the feeling of a rainbow baby on your chest. That beautiful weight and their breath. Oh my gosh congratulations,” one wrote.

The gender or name of the baby has not yet been revealed.
