Chris Dicker reported missing after kayaking at Tallebudgera Creek, Gold Coast

POLICE are looking for a man who was reported missing after he failed to return from kayaking on the Gold Coast this morning.

Chris Dicker, 28, was last seen entering the Tallebudgera Creek at 7am this morning with his grey kayak.

His kayak was later found on the western side of the bridge with a pair of scuffs in it, but no paddle.

Police are unsure if the kayak was washed up, or if it has been dragged to its current position.

Family are friends are concerned about the man’s disappearance as he has a medical condition and is intellectually impaired.

Mr Dicker is described as caucasian, of slim build with light brown hair and blue eyes.

Aerial sweeps of the area and searches on the beach have failed to locate him.

Anyone with information or who know of his whereabouts is urged to contact police.
