A Gold Coast intimates brand with an eco-conscious mission has teamed up with high profile entrepreneurs Chloe Fisher and Ellidy Pullin on an exciting new project.
Miami-based company NAT’V Basics has gone from strength-to-strength since launching in 2019, producing garments that are “95 per cent recycled or 95 per cent organic cotton”.
And founder Sandy Ronalds said she was excited to be teaming up with Mrs Fisher and Ms Pullin – with the line called – NAT’V Basics x Darling Shine.
Ms Ronalds said it was a “natural” fit for her business, which won Gold Coast City Council’s emerging micro business honour in 2023.
“It’s been super fun working with the girls,” she said.
“They are just lovely – they’re real salt of the earth humans.
“They’re super empowering and their stories are so authentic.
“They’ve got a really strong community and we’ve got a strong community – it’s just an iconic GC fit.”
Mrs Fisher, podcast host, model and wife of Grammy nominated music producer Fisher, said the collaboration felt like a “natural alignment”.
“The collection has been in the works since September 2022 and we have been wearing the brand constantly – another huge yes from me is that they create their underwear with sustainability in mind,” Mrs Fisher said.
“We know so many business owners and founders on the GC – it really is a hub for many brands who are really driving the way for business innovation.”
Ms Pullin, author, podcaster and partner of the late world champion Australian snowboarder Alex ‘Chumpy’ Pullin, said she was “so bloody excited” to see her community fall in love with the sustainable line.
“Chloe and I are always looking at ways which will leave a positive impact which is why this partnership is so exciting and something we can be proud of.
“I think in terms of fast fashion, we have the ability to help shift the mindset on why sustainable fashion is important – it’s something which the GC can be proud to support.”
Ms Ronalds said she was thrilled to see the growth her brand.
“In our full second financial year we just did over $4.48 million in revenue,” she said.
“A lot of our products are 95 per cent recycled or 95 per cent organic cotton, which is great, but we’ve still not hit that 100 per cent yet.
“We’re trying to develop something that’s 100 per cent sustainable – both material wise and at the end life of the product.”
The collection NAT’V Basics x Darling Shine launched online Sunday.
