AMERICAN celebrities are on the Gold Coast for the filming of a new Netflix sci-fi feature film with a famous couple spotted dining in the city.
Actor Miles Teller and wife Keleigh Sperry were spotted dining at Glenelg Public House in Mermaid Beach on Friday night.

The pair are in town for the filming of Escape from Spiderhead that Teller will feature in along with Australia’s own Chris Hemsworth.
The movie will be directed by Joseph Kosinski, whose previous movies included Top Gun: Maverick, Only the Brave, Oblivion and Tron: Legacy and will be filmed entirely in Queensland.
Teller is known for his roles in Whiplash and the Divergent Series and married model and actor Sperry in September last year.
The pair have been together since 2013 when they met at a party for the Black Keys, who both had mutual friends in the band.
