SHOCK video footage shows the moment a smiling couple walk into the lift of a Gold Coast building and appear to urinate on the floor.
The “disgusting” moment was captured on CCTV in the Surfers Paradise RSL building on Friday last week.
The pair, a man and woman, entered the lift on the ground floor at 10.24pm and pressed the buttons for multiple floors.
Once the doors close, the man, who is seen carrying a beer bottle, appears to unzip his pants while the woman squats down.
The woman is seen smiling and laughing through the footage, which has been supplied to police.

Once the pair finish urinating, they appear to review the fluid on the floor before the man, whose hands and arms are covered in tattoos, pats the woman on the head.
Tennants of the building noticed the smell when they arrived for work on Tuesday after the long weekend and reviewed the CCTV footage.

Lawyer Jane Elliott, of Steindls Lawyers, said the building’s workers were shocked when the footage revealed the culprits.
“The first thing we noticed was the smell,” she said.
“It’s shocking and disgusting. They didn’t even go into the RSL. They just came in on the ground floor and then did it.”
