An alleged bikie associate accused of stabbing two men found himself back in court after he breached his strict bail conditions - and arguing he was only trying to help mum. WHAT HAPPENED

An alleged bikie associate said he breached his bail conditions because he “did not want to rely on his mother to do his grocery shopping”.

Dallas Morgan, 27, pleaded guilty in the Southport Magistrates Court on Monday to breach of bail after he broke his curfew to buy food at a shopping centre on June 30.

The Upper Coomera man made full admissions to police, telling them he “did not want to rely on his mother to do his grocery shopping”, the court was told.

Morgan, allegedly linked to the Mongols bikie gang, told Magistrate Ron Kilner that his bail conditions had been amended to better suit his work schedule.

“I probably shouldn’t have gone but I was working late and I had no food for lunch the next day,” he said.

Magistrate Kilner fined Morgan $200.

No conviction was recorded.

Morgan was granted bail with strict conditions in November after he was accused of stabbing two alleged bikie associates in Biggera Waters.

He was charged with two counts of unlawful wounding.

The 27-year-old claimed he was acting in self-defence from “two lunatics who tried to set his unit on fire”.
