/81Gold Coast's Little Miracles: 11 years of heartbreaking ivf, failure after failure and $100k spent I changed to QFG at Pindara and Dr Bopp made my dreams come true. One little detail was missing for me to be able to keep my pregnancies and I can’t thank Dr Bopp enough!!!. I don’t know if I’d be here to tell the tale if I didn’t fall pregnant with my twins when I did. Unless you have walked this road you will never know the pain of going through it. People think they understand, but they don’t. I couldn’t even walk in a shopping centre without seeing a pregnant woman and bursting into tears. 11 years is a long time to live with a broken heart but the debt was well worth it and nothing I will ever do in life, will compare to being a mum, finally. These doctors are worth their weight in gold, not only do they create life but they save lives too. Picture: Shelly Monroe.
/81Gold Coast's Little Miracles: After 7 years of trying Dr Ong helped our dreams come true! Arlo was born at 27 weeks on the 25th of November 2019. He has such a kind approach to IVF which can feel very clinical and very scary. He even held my hand as I went to sleep for my egg retrieval. We are so grateful for Dr Ong! Picture: Katie Daley
/81Gold Coast's Little Miracles: We kicked secondary infertility in the butt thanks to Dr Kee Ong. Nearly 3 years of trying got us our little Kai Xavier Way, born 08 April 2021. We went a little backward with heading straight into an IVF round (after 6 rounds total of chlomid and letrazole with another doc), 3 rounds with nothing to show for except a suffering bank account, we did a few more tests and an IUI round on an immune protocol whilst waiting for results. It was the winning combo for us. Picture: Sissel Way
/81Gold Coast's Little Miracles: My two Ivf miracles! After ten years of trying for babies, Dr Kee and Prof Dunphy granted our wishes. Best mates now they are 10 and 5. Thankyou to the absolute medical miracle of IVF and the thankless team at Monash. Picture: Jacqueline Cameron.
/81Gold Coast's Little Miracles: The one we waited for... Lincoln John Stanley, born 31/07/20 after 7 years of praying, waiting, fighting, and believing. Amari is our one and only golden embryo in my 6th IVF/ICSI cycles. Thanks to Dr. Kee Ong for completing our little family and also not giving up on us on our ivf journey he is our hero. Picture: Nesil Sangeles Hilcher.
/81Gold Coast's Little Miracles: Our beautiful Kee miracle babies.... Theodore Nelson, born 23/01/2019, and Elliott Nelson, born 30/12/2020. We did one stim cycle that resulted in 7 perfect embryos. Theo was our very first transfer. We did 3 frozen embryo transfers that all resulted in miscarriages to conceive Elliott, but Kee suggested doing an immune protocol and we were blessed with our gorgeous rainbow. We will forever be beyond grateful to Kee for helping us to become parents. He truly is the miracle man. Picture: Tabitha Donnini.
/81Gold Coast's Little Miracles: Tommy Beer 11th June 2021. After trying for 10 years Dr Ong was able to help create our little miracle after 3 years of IVF with 3 egg collections, 4 Lap surgeries to remove Endometriosis, PCOS, Adenomyosis, and a partial DQ Alpha match with my husband. Having transferred 10 embryos and having none stick Dr Ong never gave up and with the transfer of our 11th embryo he made our dream come true. There are just no words to express how much we appreciate everything Dr Ong and his team has been able to do for us. He truly is a miracle man. Picture: Kerrie Anne Beer.

/81Gold Coast's Little Miracles: There's an entire team behind the Dr who gets all the glory. My twins were born in 2006 after 4 rounds of IVF with Ben Bopp. This photo was taken approx 6 years ago when we bumped into the true miracle worker Jasmine Mannion who is the scientist who really did the work to create our miracles. Dr Bopp retrieved the ingredients but Jasmine was head chef & I was the oven. They're all miracle workers and I will be forever grateful for the gift of life they gave us. Picture: Nancy Carter.
/81Gold Coast's Little Miracles: My very own "kee miracle" my story is a little different to others, I believed I had finished my family and started donating my eggs to other families through Kee(resulting in 6 babies) After a while my yearning to have another child became so strong that my husband and I decided to do our own IVF, after 2 cycles we got our beautiful girl, Adalyn Scott, 15/5/19. We then donated remaining embryos and that created another beautiful family. Picture: Angela Scott.

Just goes to show that anyone can have fertility issues and just because your young doesn’t guarantee that you will be able to conceive naturally , atlas was our last frozen egg ! His embryo was actually our worst graded and was always behind. Out of the three we transferred over the months he stuck. After a long complicated pregnancy Atlas was born - such a little blessing. Picture: Danielle La'Belle
/81Gold Coast's Little Miracles: Jack Archibald, 19/07/2018. After falling pregnant with our daughter naturally after a few months, we expected things might take a little longer the second time, but after 2 years of trying we went to see Kee. After testing he found we officially had a 0.3% chance of having a baby naturally. We underwent IVF with Kee and he gave us our perfect little boy, and completed our family. We will forever be in his debt, and no words can ever thank him enough. Picture: Erin Archibald.

/81Gold Coast's Little Miracles: This is my beautiful Kee miracle baby Caspian born October 2019. With pcos and no hope of falling pregnant naturally fertility treatments were the only option. Despite many odds and thinking the treatments weren’t working and going for a test that could not be done (thank god as it would have aborted my pregnancy) I found out 2 weeks later I was 5 weeks pregnant and he is the best thing to have ever happened to us and Kee is now helping us with completing our family with one more addition. We will never be able to thank this amazing man enough. Picture: Jessica Grumley.
/81Gold Coast's Little Miracles: Dr. Ong was super amazing for us. First son born in 2012. Then I had a brain tumour, more surgery and other complications. Went back to him in 2015 and Kee helped us financially and physically complete our family of 4. Picture: Debra Balhatchet.
/81Gold Coast's Little Miracles: A long road travelled on the IVF path that resulted in one baby girl born with Angel wings on the 4th November 2013 then a few failed cycles in between , removal of endometriosis several times, to then be blessed with another beautiful daughter born on 6th July 2017 Ariana Jule and a handsome brother to follow on the 27th November 2020 Mateo Cruz, couldn’t have asked for a better Doctor in Dr Andrew Cary and the staff in the maternity ward at Pindara private hospital. I was diagnosed with Placenta Accreta and Placenta previa , had to undergo a cesarean hysterectomy just in case of complications with the placenta - followed by blood transfusions and few more hiccups to follow. 37/81Gold Coast's Little Miracles: Indigo Rose Wright born 7th of September 2020. After 3 rounds of IVF with another specialist & zero answers as to why we couldn’t conceive we made the switch to Dr Kee! He straight away booked me in for a laparoscopic surgery to see if I had endometriosis, to ensure we didn’t continue wasting our money on IVF before investigating further. sure enough we soon quickly discovered I had a very bad case. He was able to remove most of it where we then went for a whole full round of IVF & first fresh embryo transfer where our beautiful daughter Indigo Rose was created. Thank you doctor Kee! We will forever be grateful for the incredible specialist that you are. I will never forget just how much of a caring doctor you are even as far as holding your patients hands before drifting off to sleep for surgery. You truly are a blessing to this world & we thank you so much for giving us the greatest gift of all… our daughter. Picture: Samantha Wright.
/81Gold Coast's Little Miracles: Daisy Clucas 20/04/2021 After being diagnosed out of the blue with stage 4 endometriosis in 2019, which then resulted in the removal of one of my Fallopian tubes, we had little hope that we would ever fall pregnant again. A friend then suggested that we talk to Dr Ong and we are so thankful that we did. After 1 stim cycle and 2 embryo transfers later we were blessed with our little miracle baby a few months ago. We will always be forever grateful for the beautiful daughter that Dr Ong helped us to create. Picture: Rebecca Clucas.
/81Gold Coast's Little Miracles: Uncle Kee is the miracle man. One in a million. You won’t find another physician anywhere with his work ethic, compassion, knowledge and skill. I was infertile and pushed away by the first specialist I saw. I had a Skype with Kee (as I was interstate) and he told me he would get me pregnant. 7 cycles back to back over 9 months including a couple of surgeries and we created my twins. Jolene and Henley are 5 in September and call Dr Ong “Uncle Kee”. They know how they came about with Uncle Kees help. I’ve since referred numerous women to Kee who’ve not had any success due to infertility and proud to say they are all mothers now. He is the absolute best. But more importantly he doesn’t treat you like a number and doesn’t want to empty your pockets. We love Dr. Kee Ong. Picture: Joni-Lee James.

After a terrible pregnancy, my son was delivered at 33wks via c-section. He weighed 1626g and spent his first 5 to 6wks in NICU/Special care nursery. He is now 20mnths old and thriving. We feel like we have been through it all - Dr Kee Ong is amazing and so grateful for all that he has done but sometimes when our bodies are done, they are done and it’s important to acknowledge that too - not everyone who does IVF ends up with a baby at the end of it.
