Detectives are searching for a man after a car theft in Highton was followed by an alleged spending spree using a stolen credit card.

Detectives are searching for a man they hope can assist with an investigation after a car was allegedly stolen in Highton.
Victoria Police have launched a probe after number of deceptions in Grovedale and Belmont following the theft, alleged to have occurred on Dryden Way on May 19.
It’s believed a credit card taken from inside a silver Subaru was used to make numerous purchases in the Belmont and Grovedale areas.
The car was later found dumped in Breakwater.
Police have released an image of a man they believe can assist with inquiries.
He is seen wearing a grey hooded jumper and a black baseball cap.
