Three charged after alleged violent St Albans Park carjacking
Three people, including a 17-year-old girl, have been charged following two alleged carjackings in Geelong earlier this week.

Three people have been charged following two alleged carjackings in Geelong on Monday that resulted in a teenager being slashed with a knife.
Geelong Crime Investigation Unit detectives charged two men and a teenage girl for the incidents in Belmont and St Albans Park.
It is alleged the trio entered a parked car in High St, Belmont, about 4pm on Monday, where they produced a knife before demanding the 24-year-old male inside the car to drive.
They were driven to Woods Rd in St Albans Park, where they approached a second car about 4.30pm.
The group allegedly assaulted a woman inside the second car before fleeing the scene in her white Suzuki Vitara wagon.
The 18-year-old woman, a surf lifesaver, sustained slash wounds during the incident and was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The male victim did not sustain any physical injuries.
A 24-year-old man of no fixed address was arrested on Wednesday.
He has been charged with aggravated carjacking, false imprisonment and assault causing injury.
He will appear at the Geelong Magistrates’ Court on August 7.
A 20-year-old man of no fixed address was also arrested on Wednesday.
He has been charged with the same offences, as well as possess a drug of dependence.
He will appear at the Geelong Magistrates’ Court on July 5.
A 17-year-old girl was arrested on Thursday.
She has also been charged with aggravated carjacking, false imprisonment, assault causing injury and possess a drug of dependence.
She will appear at a children’s court on Friday.
The Suzuki has not been located.
