A motorcyclist has been flown to hospital after being struck by a car in the streets of a busy Surf Coast town.
The incident occurred on Riverside Dr near Fisher St in Torquay about 5:20pm on Friday evening.
An Ambulance Victoria spokeswoman said the man, aged in his 60s, suffered serious lower body injuries from the collision.
He was flown to hospital via helicopter to the Royal Melbourne hospital in a serious but non-life-threatening condition.
The incident comes three weeks after a motorcyclist died in Eastern Views following a horror incident on the Great Ocean Road.
The motorbike collided with a Ford Ranger towing a caravan, resulting in the death of the rider.
The driver of the Ford was uninjured.
