Investigators want to speak to the driver of a car that visited a Norlane house half an hour before it went up in flames.

Police want to know why a mystery driver visited a Norlane house just minutes before it went up in flames.

Emergency services were called to a property on Waitara Grove about 7.45am on May 22.

Firefighters arrived on scene just three minutes after receiving the calls, finding the front half of the weatherboard house ablaze.

Donning breathing apparatus to fight the fire, firefighters brought it under control at 8.09pm.

Police are investigating the fire, in particular, a mystery visitor shortly before.

A video was released on Thursday of a car rolling up to the property 30 minutes before the fire.

The sedan can be seen pulling into the driveway of the house, before a person gets out of the vehicle and enters.

Investigators are hoping to speak to the driver and are asking the public for assistance in tracking them down.
