Police are investigating two car fires they believe could be linked.

Police are investigating two Geelong car fires they believe could be linked.

A Victoria Police spokesperson the first fire took place at 3.50am on Saturday May 25 in Kana Street, Grovedale, when a parked vehicle had its door set on fire.

“CCTV captured the two persons pictured in the area at the time and police believe they could assist with enquiries,” the spokesperson said.

The second incident took place two days later on Monday May 27 around 2.20am.

“The pictured white Ford Utility attended an address in Manikato Court, St Albans Park shortly before another vehicle on the street had its door set on fire,” the spokesperson said.

The spokesperson said pictured Ford appeared to have a distinct cage on the back.

Police urged anyone with information to contact Crimestoppers.
