Man left with serious injuries following Hamlyn Heights stabbing
A man has been arrested and another man taken to hospital with serious injuries after a stabbing in Geelong’s north.

A man has been arrested and another man seriously injured after a stabbing in Hamlyn Heights on Tuesday.
Emergency services were called to Lantana Ave just before 8am after the two men were allegedly involved in a physical altercation.
“A 65-year-old man sustained stab wounds and was transported to hospital with serious injuries,” police said.
“A 60-year-old Hamlyn Heights man was arrested at the scene.
“He did not sustain any injuries.”
Officers also allegedly found 12 cannabis plants inside the property.
The Hamlyn Heights man remains in custody and is assisting police with their enquiries.
He is expected to front the Geelong Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
It is understood both men are known to each other.
It comes after a stabbing in Thomson on Tuesday morning.
A Charlemont man was taken to hospital after he was stabbed in the arm by an unknown male.
