There was a stunning eight-all tie between East Belmont Saints and Guild/Lara on Saturday morning in Geelong junior baseball.
The Geelong Baseball Association’s under-14 competition is approaching the finals with both teams fighting it out at the Geelong Baseball Centre in Grovedale.
It was a terrific effort for the fifth-placed visitors against the Saints, who finished the round in equal first with Bellarine Blue, who have a superior percentage.
Meanwhile, in other under-14 results, Bellarine Blue beat Deakin Blue 7-5 at Deakin University and there was a 0-0 match between Bellarine Red and the Ballarat Royals at Wallington Reserve.
