SPIT FUTURE DECISION BY MIDYEAR
The three-storey club would be able to host functions and events for more than 3000 guests and would feature a variety of restaurants and cafes.
The design includes a rooftop lounge and nightclub, terraced gardens and lawns, an outdoor pool and beach area, with a mix of family-friendly areas and VIP cabanas and lounges.
CROWN STILL AT THE TABLE ON ASF
ASF says it is in negotiations with a major international beach club brand to run and operate the venue.
This would ensure “the Gold Coast entices a new wave of international guest DJs, live performers and musicians that the region would not normally attract”.

ASF consortium development director Dean LaVigne said the club would be a major element of the project.
“International beach club brands like Nikki Beach, Ku De Ta, Blue Marlin and Purobeach know how to successfully deliver and manage world-class destinations that draw signature chefs, local and international DJs and musicians, while also staying true to the local culture and
ambience of the location,” he said.

“It also provides a range of employment opportunities and is expected to provide at least 300 jobs for the region, once it is fully operational,” he said
“The beach club will be just one of the leisure and entertainment anchors of the GCIR and will rival that of other high-end beach club venues around the globe.”
