In its quest to win over Darwin, Bonza has dangled a tantalising carrot in front of Territorians looking for cheap flights.
This week, the independent airline announced that Bonza holiday bundles, which include flights, bag, accommodation, travel insurance, and car hire, were now available via its new website.
Previously, customers had to download the Bonza phone application in order to view and book flights.
Bonza chief executive Tim Jordan said the initiative was a handy addition the airline’s Fly Bonza app.
“We’ve listened to our customers and their feedback was that not everyone wants to book via the app so we’ve created a user-friendly website meaning even more Aussies can take advantage of our low-cost airfares on 36 routes to 21 destinations,” Mr Jordan said.
“We’re still encouraging customers to download and use the Fly Bonza app as it’s still the only way to check in, retrieve your boarding pass, buy food and drink from our All Aussie menu and enjoy many entertainment options while on board – essentially your very own pocket travel buddy.”
The launch coincided with the announcement that one-way flights to Darwin would be on sale from just $39 per person until April 2, along with 11 other destinations: Cairns, Gladstone, Melbourne (Tullamarine), Mackay, Mildura, Newcastle, Rockhampton, Sunshine Coast, Tamworth, Toowoomba Wellcamp and Townsville.
“We understand that some customers prefer to book online so introducing this easy-to-use website as a digital companion to our Fly Bonza app allows us to reach many more travellers who have yet to experience Bonza,” Mr Jordan said.
