Police have allegedly discovered what they say is a “significant” amount of drugs at a Gold Coast home.
Police raided the Varsity Lakes home on Varsity Pde about 12.30pm on Monday, allegedly uncovering cocaine, MDMA, steroids, illegal prescription medication and $6,850 in cash.
Medication bottles for Kalma, an anti-anxiety medication, were among the goods allegedly found, along with unmarked white pills.
The owner of the home, a 23-year-old man, wasn’t home at the time, and was arrested by police on Tuesday.

He has since been charged with five counts of possessing dangerous drugs and one count each of supplying dangerous drugs and possessing property suspected of being the proceeds of a drug offence.
He is due to front Southport Magistrates Court on December 9.
