A total of seven male Schoolies were arrested on 15 offences overnight, largely relating to drugs, according to Gold Coast police.
Five Schoolies also received liquor infringement notices.
On the same night in 2018, a total of five Schoolies were arrested.

Meanwhile, 14 non-Schoolies were arrested on 26 charges, relating to public nuisance, general traffic matters, breach bail and other offences.
Police pleaded with school leavers to act responsibly, after a 17-year-old girl was filmed climbing over a high-rise balcony rail during this week’s celebrations.
Earlier this week, Queensland Ambulance Service senior operations supervisor Justin Payne spoke out after a Schoolie who had reportedly taken multiple MDMA pills tried to scale from a fifth floor balcony to the fourth floor.
Overnight, paramedics were kept busy treating a total of 51 patients, including 23 girls and 28 boys, at the hub’s Emergency Treatment Centre.
Seven of the patients were taken to hospital.
