A PROSTITUTE has been jailed for seven years over her involvement in the brutal bashing death of a Coomera father.
Mother-of-three Peta Lorang-Goubran, 35, pleaded guilty in the Brisbane Supreme Court today to unlawfully killing Mark “Zeb” Spencer in October 2014, among other offences.
Mr Spencer’s lifeless body was found on his back veranda by his flatmate about 4am on October 1.
He had severe head injuries and could not be revived.
In sentencing Justice David Boddice noted Lorang-Goubran’s tragic and dysfunctional upbringing, but said Mr Spencer’s death was an act of “senseless violence” and sentenced her to a head term of seven years imprisonment, with a parole eligibility date of June 2 next year.
Lorang-Goubran’s co-accused, Mark Dayney, is due to appear in the Southport Magistrates Court for a mention tomorrow.
