Police hunt man after armed robbery of Southport service station
Police are hunting a man who threatened a 23-year-old woman during a robbery on the Gold Coast this morning.

POLICE are hunting a man after the armed robbery of a service station in Southport this morning.
The man approached the front counter of the Marine Parade business and pulled out a knife, before gaining entry behind the counter.
He then threatened the 23-year-old female attendant and stole cash and cigarettes before fleeing on foot.
He was last seen running down High Street.

He is described as 160cm tall and was wearing grey tracksuit pants with a stripe down the side, a dark blue hooded jumper, dark beanie, white socks with blue and white stripe ‘Adidas’ slip-on shoes.
Investigations are continuing.
