Police car rammed by allegedly stolen vehicle at Pacific Fair after chase across Gold Coast

An unmarked police car has been rammed outside a major Gold Coast shopping centre this afternoon.

A POLICE patrol car has been rammed by an allegedly stolen vehicle outside Pacific Fair Shopping Centre this afternoon.

Two people have now been arrested over the incident involving an unmarked police car, which occurred around 4.30pm.

The stolen vehicle was first sighted in Helensvale three hours earlier.

Queensland Police have confirmed one vehicle had been dumped at Hope Island after its occupants fled in a second car.

Multiple juveniles are now in custody and are being transported to the Southport Watchhouse.
