INVESTIGATIONS are underway into how and why a teenager was dumped at a Gold Coast hospital with multiple stab wounds to his back and chest.
Early investigations suggest the 17-year-old boy was stabbed multiple times at a home in Ormeau, before he was driven in a car to the Gold Coast Private Hospital about 1pm.
The teen was dumped at the front of the hospital, before the driver fled the scene.

He was then rushed to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a serious condition suffering multiple stab wounds to his chest and back.
He remains there in a serious condition.
Detectives are trying to piece together what led up to the stabbing, with investigations ongoing.
