Luke Tomlinson: warrant arrested over alleged drug driving

A wealthy Gold Coast man who lost his leg during a robbery is wanted by police. A warrant for the man was issued this morning.

A WEALTHY Gold Coast man who lost his leg during a robbery is wanted by police.

A warrant has been issued for Luke Tomlinson, whose right leg amputated below the knee after he was shot last year, because he did not show up to court.

The 47-year-old was meant to appear in the Southport Magistrates Court today on one charge of drug driving.

Magistrate Jane Bentley issued a warrant for his arrest.

Police will allege he drove on May 11 in Hope Island while an illicit drug with in his system.

Tomlinson is the older brother of millionaire Sean and the son of Owen who bought the Gold Coast Blaze National Basketball League to town.
