Killer of Gold Coast businessman Sam Dhody pleads guilty to murder

A MAN accused of shooting Southport businessman Sam Dhody has this morning pleaded guilty to murder.
Adam James Gooley appeared in the Supreme Court in Brisbane where he pleaded guilty to murdering Shyam “Sam’’ Dhody in 2013.
Dhody, 37, was found shot dead at his Gilston home on July 5, 2013.
Gooley also pleaded guilty to attempting to unlawfully kill Dhody in an earlier incident in Molendinar in March, just four months before the murder.
His sentence was adjourned until September 4 and Gooley was remanded in custody.
