MORE than $10,000 worth of steroids was allegedly discovered by Gold Coast detectives when they raided an Upper Coomera house.
Officers from the Gold Coast Major and Organised Crime Squad (MOCS) yesterday executed a search warrant on the northern Gold Coast house where they allegedly discovered a “significant quantity” of performance and image enhancing drugs
A 40-year-old Upper Coomera man has been charged with possessing a dangerous drug, possessing a restricted drug, failure to dispose of a syringe, contravening an order about information necessary to access information stored electronically and stealing.

He is expected to appear in the Southport Magistrates Court on April 26.
MOCS Detective Inspector Glen Donaldson steroids posed a major risk to the public.
“Detectives from MOCS will continue to work with the Gold Coast officers to proactively target those involved in the illicit use and supply of dangerous drugs within our community,” he said.
