POLICE are hunting for witnesses after a man was stabbed in the back during a violent robbery at a Gold Coast home yesterday.
Police will allege two men walked into an unlocked unit in Barton St at Southport about 3.20pm on Wednesday, demanding money.
A fight broke out with the 36-year-old occupant who was inside at the time.
He was stabbed in the back by one of the men.

The pair then fled empty-handed, while the man was taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Police are searching for anyone who saw suspicious behaviour in the area around the time.
