One of the northern Gold Coast’s most famous landmarks has been stolen.
Brazen thieves have taken one of the Cav’s cows which have sat outside the popular Labrador steakhouse for more than 35 years.
It is believed the statue, one of three, was taken between Sunday night and this morning.
Owner Richard Cavill demanded the thieves return his beloved cow.
“If you have it, please bring it back and we will accept it no questions asked,” he said.
“My wife is offering a reward for any information that will lead to its return.”
Mr Cavill said he noticed the cow was gone when he went out to check on it this morning.
“I went out tow after them and realised it had gone walkabout,” he said.

It’s not the first time a cow has been taken from outside the famous eatery.
In December one of the fibreglass creatures was taken late at night but found in a nearby street the next morning.
The Frank Street steakhouse is expected to be demolished in the near future to make way for a mid-rise tower project which will incorporate a new restaurant.
The cows are expected to be put into storage during construction and brought out once the tower is completed.
