A MAN has been charged after police allegedly found a “significant” amount of cannabis plants growing in the Gold Coast Hinterland.
It is alleged officers from the Gold Coast Rapid Action and Patrols found 82 mature plants at Tallebudgera Creek Road in Tallebudgera Valley yesterday.
A 52-year-old man from Tallebudgera has been charged with producing dangerous drugs, possessing dangerous drugs and possessing things used in connection with a crime.
The man is expected to appear at Southport Magistrates Court today.
