THE driver of a Holden Commodore that sideswiped parked cars was seen “doing huge burn outs and fishtailing” up a quiet Coast street before it crashed, witnesses say.
At 4.40pm this afternoon, police received reports of a car sideswiping other vehicles along Marine Parade in Labrador.
One man, whose neighbours witnessed most of the bizarre event, claims the “guy was doing huge burn outs and fishtailing up the street.”
“He’s messed his car up really bad,” the witness said.
“The car has been sitting (on Robert Street) for the past six months without any plates. He started doing burnouts, then he started doing fishtails up Marine Parade before he ran into a power pole.

“He’s sideswiped the neighbour’s car … at least two cars. It’s like a street party at the moment.”
The driver had driven about 50m up the road before coming back to almost where he had begun.
The driver was also seen to be yelling out of the window, including racist taunts, as police arrived.
A Queensland Police spokeswoman said there was reportedly “a lot of damage” to other cars.
The red car was also believed to be unregistered as there were no plates on the vehicle.
One person was taken into custody.
