BANDIDO bikie Jacques Teamo has been arrested after a man was attacked in the middle of Pacific Fair shopping centre earlier this month.
Taskforce Maxima detectives swooped on Teamo, 48, at his Robina home about 9am this morning and charged him with assault occasioning bodily harm (whilst pretending to be armed) and wilful damage.
It’s alleged Teamo had a dispute with a 29-year-old man at the Broadbeach shopping centre on May 4 and punched him in the face before threatening to stab him.
He is also alleged to have kicked the man’s car.
Police executed a search warrant at Teamo’s home this morning and also allegedly uncovered drugs.
He was charged with unlawful possession of a dangerous drug (methylamphetamine) and possession of a drug utensil following today’s search.
Teamo is due to appear in Southport Magistrates Court tomorrow.
It is not the first time Teamo has run into strife in a Gold Coast shopping centre.
Teamo was infamously shot by Mongols bikie Mark James Graham in the middle of bustling Robina Town Centre in 2012.
In the confrontation, Graham pulled out a gun and Teamo started to run away but he was shot along with innocent shopper Kathy Devitt as terrified shoppers scattered.
Graham was jailed for 12 years and three months after a jury found him guilty of attempted murder.
