The registered company has lodged a development application for the land, which sits at the base of Currumbin Valley near Currumbin Creek.

Plans submitted to the Gold Coast City Council show the development would have a 94 sq m chapel and 196 sq m function room which will have space for 12 tables and 100 guests, plus another table for the bridal party.

There will also be a specialised bridal suite which will lead into the chapel.

A caretaker’s cottage will also be built on the site as part of the development.

The developer says the facility would be marketed towards weddings, birthdays and conferences.
