GOLD Coast councillor Cameron Caldwell got married in a secret wedding ceremony late yesterday afternoon.
The city planning boss tied the knot with new wife Lauren Turner in a harbourside ceremony at Sanctuary Cove.
The ceremony, which was kept under-wraps, was attended by family and friends, including Mayor Tom Tate, mayoress Ruth Tate and Deputy Mayor Donna Gates.

“We are just so happy to be married, this is the most wonderful day of our lives,” Cr Caldwell told the Bulletin last night.

The bride wore an Alex Perry gown and wedding rings & jewellery were from Gold Coast-based jeweller LeGassick.
The stunning bridal bouquet was from Fleurus.
The groom wore a Peter Jackson dinner suit with his favourite RM Williams boots, and cuff links which were a gift from his new wife.
The couple have been together for three years.
