THE results of tests on multiple Gold Coasters for the deadly coronavirus have come in after four people across Australia were confirmed to have the disease in Australia.
There are no confirmed cases of the deadly coronavirus on the Gold Coast after test results on multiple people returned negative.
Queensland Health has confirmed tests conducted on six people in the state returned a negative result this afternoon.
It comes as a fifth person on the Gold Coast was being tested for the disease, with four confirmed cases across Australia.
Queensland’s Chief Health Officer Dr Jeannette Young said staff were conducting four people in Queensland who were on the same flight as the Victorian patient who tested positive.
At least five people on the Gold Coast have already been tested in the past few days, with four having been cleared.
The most recent patient was tested early this morning and is awaiting the results in the Gold Coast University Hospital.
A Queensland Health spokesman said authorities were waiting on the tests results of five new patients across the state.

The six others who were tested have been cleared.
A Chinese national visiting Melbourne was yesterday confirmed as the first case in Australia, with another three men in NSW last night testing positive to the virus.
The spokesman said Queensland Health were trying to contact four Queenslanders they know were on the same flight as the Melbourne man.
Yesterday a Chinese national transported from the Q1 tower in Surfers Paradise is the latest patient to be admitted to Gold Coast University Hospital with symptoms of the deadly disease.
At least 41 people have died in China of the disease.
Queensland Health has set up an emergency co-ordination centre to manage potential deadly coronavirus cases.
Anyone returning from Wuhan, China who has developed respiratory symptoms within 14 days of travel is being urged to contact their general practitioner.
People are being urged to call ahead and advise the clinic of their symptoms so precautions can be taken.
