The trial of Rajwinder Singh has entered its final days ahead of the jury being asked to decide the fate of the former nurse, who has pleaded not guilty to killing Cairns woman Toyah Cordingley in 2018.

This morning, Gregory McGuire KC resumed summing up of the defence case on day 18 of the Rajwinder Singh trial.

Mr McGuire told the jury all Mr Singh wanted was a “fair trial.”

“Only you can give Rajwinder Singh a fair trial,” he said. 

“All that we can ask on behalf of Mr Singh is that you deliver a true verdict based on the evidence and be brave enough to act accordingly.”
