Traffic has been cleared and one person has been taken to hospital following a two-vehicle crash on a major Cairns road.
Emergency services responded to reports of a two-vehicle crash at the corner of Cairns Western Arterial Road and Kamerunga Rd in Caravonica on Wednesday at 11.07am.
A Queensland Ambulance Services spokeswoman confirmed one patient had been transported to Cairns hospital in a stable condition.
“We transported one stable patient with minor injuries,” the spokeswoman said.
Queensland Traffic confirmed traffic had reopened around 12.30pm.
