A marked police car activated its lights and sirens to intercept the car before the driver allegedly sped off.

The man ran from the scene but was immediately located and arrested by officers.
Officers from the Innisfail Criminal Investigation Branch have charged a 33-year-old man with multiple offences, including one count each of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, dangerous operation of a vehicle, driving whilst disqualified, evade and possession of dangerous drugs.
He was remanded in custody and is due to appear in the Innisfail Magistrates Court on June 23.
It comes after a week-long crime crackdown across the Far North which led to 74 adults and 72 youths charged with hundreds of offences with one person of interest allegedly on the run.
