Car towing caravan crashed into guardrail at Gadgarra
A vehicle towing a caravan has crashed into the guardrail on a busy Far North road. Emergency services are at the scene.

Traffic has slowed at a busy Tablelands access road after a vehicle towing a caravan crashed into the guard rails.
A Queensland Police spokesman said shortly after 12.30pm on Sunday, a vehicle towing a caravan slid across the road and crashed into the guardrail on the Gillies Range Rd at Gadgarra, near the Heales Lockout.
The Gillies Range Road is notorious for closures and traffic delays due to fallen trees and vehicle crashes.
“Officers from Malanda station were on scene which is 8km down the range at 12.56pm,” he said.
“It appears everyone is safe and out of the car, no one is entrapped.
“There are also firefighters at the scene.”
A Queensland Fire and Emergency spokeswoman confirmed two crews had been dispatched to the incident.
According to QldTraffic, lanes are blocked in all directions.
It’s been a busy time for emergency services with several road incidents over the weekend including a campervan crashed and rolled three times on Tully Mission Beach Rd near Merryburn, which injured four people, two of whom were taken to Tully Hospital.
On Saturday morning paramedics transported a man injured in motorcycle and vehicle crash at Kewarra Beach.
