Brownlow Medal 2024: Sneak peek at Geelong WAG Indiana Putra’s dress

With just one week to go until the 2024 Brownlow Medal, Indiana Putra, the fiancé of Geelong superstar Jeremy Cameron, is getting her final fittings done. Take a look at her glittering gown.

With one week to go before the Brownlow Medal, the final stitches are being sewn.

But Indiana Putra, the fiancé of Geelong superstar Jeremy Cameron is doing a two for one, not only having her Brownlow dress fitting at Melbourne red carpet queen Silvana Tedesco’s Kew studio, but her wedding dress too.

Cameron popped the question while walking on a beach back in January with their daughter Macey. The 18-month-old will walk down the aisle with them in January as a flower girl at their Bellarine Peninsula nuptials, with Cameron’s former teammate GWS captain Toby Greene a groomsman.

But first is not just the Brownlow, but a preliminary final against the Brisbane Lions at the MCG on Saturday with all of Victoria rooting for Geelong given they’re the only home team left in the finals.

Cameron inspired the stunning victory at Adelaide Oval with his freak qualifying goal against Port Adelaide.

“It was next level. His talent still impresses me to this day, it was pretty cool,” Putra said wearing a Silvana Tedesco gown for a Herald Sun Brownlow fashion shoot ahead of AFL’s night of nights at Crown.

“It was such a good start to the finals I’d love it to continue right to the end like that. Fingers crossed.”

Putra, who said she is far more at home on the couple’s farm than in a fashion shoot, is a breath of fresh air. She met the homegrown designer, and her soon to be husband for that matter, via her sister Jasmine Griffen.

The couple began dating in 2017 when the gun All Australian forward was playing for the GWS Giants, her sister Jasmine is married to Cameron’s best mate, former teammate Ryan Griffen.

“I always knew of Silvana back then,” Putra said. “So in 2022 I said let’s work together.”

They have had some memorable red carpet looks since, with this year’s Brownlow count no different.

“It is definitely not my natural habitat at all, but Silvana always makes me feel so confident and I trust her. It is a lot to take in but it’s fun and where else do you get to wear a dress like that and get dressed up like that.”

One of Jeremy Cameron’s cows became an unlikely celebrity after the star Cat posted a video on Instagram of the farm animal wearing his premiership medallion.

She says all eyes are on the big dance, with Cameron famously putting his premiership medal around one of his cows following Geelong’s 2022 grand final victory.

“Leading into a game he is like a kid on Christmas Day and pumped and so excited,” Putra said.

“We’ve got no cows left on the farm now, it might have to be a sheep, or our pet lamb.”
