Victoria Police investigation man’s death during hunting trip at Noojee

A man has died while on a hunting trip with a group of people, with police calling for any information about the incident.

A man has died after he was shot during a group hunting trip.

Victoria Police believe a group of people were hunting in Noojee in Victoria’s Gippsland region when the man suffered a gunshot wound about 11.30am on Saturday.

The man died at the scene.

He is yet to be formally identified.

An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the man’s death is ongoing.

There is no suggestion the shooting was deliberate
