Police have appealed for public assistance to locate an elderly man missing from his home in Sydney’s southwest, with his disappearance being called “out of character” by his family.
Phong Luu, 72, was last seen at a Broomfield St address in Cabramatta at 6am on Sunday wearing pajamas.
The search for the Sydney man has now entered its second day after Mr Luu’s family raised the alarm when he could not be located or contacted.
“Police and family hold serious concerns for his welfare as his disappearance is out of character,” a NSW Police spokesperson said.
Mr Luu is described as being of Asian appearance and of a slim build.
He is about 160cm tall, has short grey hair, and may be wearing a button-up shirt, jeans and a pair of joggers.
NSW Police said he may be driving a grey Mitsubishi Lancer with NSW plates ZIG942 and is known to frequent the Cabramatta and Fairfield areas.
